Park Hill – I LOVE YOU WILL U MARRY ME
Urban Splash is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the iconic Park Hill building by signalling the next stage of the development with the switch on of a striking new neon sign. The graffiti, spelling out I LOVE YOU WILL U MARRY ME has become an iconic image of Park Hill over the years and Urban Splash has recognised this heritage and romance by preserving the markings with a permanent neon light display.
A BBC Radio 4 documentary aiming to get to the bottom of who wrote the message has been produced by local freelance journalist Frances Brynes and is expected to air later this summer.
