University College London (UCL) – Ramsay Hall
The Ramsay Hall new student accommodation building comprises an eight storey insitu reinforced concrete frame with flat slabs, built within the courtyard of the existing UCL Ramsay Hall London, Paris, Rome and New York student blocks.
Six storeys cantilever at one end of the building and are supported on a transfer structure propped by two large feature reinforced concrete raking columns, which are three storeys high. There is also a steel stair which is suspended off this cantilevered edge of the building.
