Piccadilly Basin, Manchester – ILVA building

We were the civil/structural engineers for this large volume retail building up to Design-and-Build contract stage.  This 120,000 sq foot building has a basement car park within a reinforced concrete podium structure, and a long spanning steel framed superstructure over two levels.  The building has a loading bay for articulated lorries at street level, together with customer collection area within the basement.  This building was completed in 2005.
