Piccadilly Basin, Manchester

Carvers-Warehouse

Our work started on this site in 1997 with the development of the master plan on this 13 acre site in the heart of Manchester.

The first phase of delivery involved the restoration of the canal and its listed structures and the creation of a new canal boat marina and two bridges.  We were lead consultant for these ERDF-funded works.

Subsequent delivery includes large volume retail space, new licensed retail, commercial and residential buildings, hotels and the refurbishment and conversion of three listed buildings, for all of which we are acting as Structural Engineer.
