We worked with Gehl Architects and Landscape Projects Landscape Architects on the re-design of New Road, Brighton.  Our work has transformed this run down city centre street into a pedestrian dominated shared space, providing a high quality route through an important cultural quarter.

New Road, Brighton was one of the first shared space schemes to be introduced in the country.  Since its opening in 2007, New Road has seen a significant reduction in traffic volumes and speeds, increased pedestrian and cycling activity, and has been elevated in a recent poll becoming the fourth most popular place to spend time in the city.

New Road has won a number of significant awards since its opening.
